I/ Activate the method of calculating fees in time
In the project, go to the Fees tab and pass the project Under Review
After adding the project phases and applying the phases, click Calculation Method and check Time.
It's done ! 🎉
Project fees will be calculated on a time basis.
By default, the times will be in hours but you can activate the times module in days.
In the project, go to the Settings > Fees tab then activate the module.
II/ Add project roles with their billable rates
Then go back to the fees of your project and click on Manage roles.
This is to indicate which agency roles are working on the project.
Each role has a billable rate, meaning a sold and markup rate.
You can either:
- Option 1: select an already existing role.
Click on the drop-down menu and then check the project roles.
- Option 2: create a new role
Click on the + Role button, name the role and put the billable rate
You can edit your roles as needed, changing their daily billable rates. Just click on the underlined rate.
You have added the roles in your project, now assign the project members by assigning them a role.
In the Billable collaborators table, you will find the list of members assigned to the project. To assign them a role, click on the title underlined in blue under their name and check the role in the drop-down menu.
Or drag the collaborator's circular icon directly onto their role to assign it to them.

III/Allocate time per project phase to calculate project fees
In the table, allocate the times by phase and by role of the project.
You will see the detail and the total amount per phase in another table below.
And the Phase Summary table at the very bottom.
