Create entities on OOTI: the points to know

Here are the ins and outs of creating an additional entity on OOTI

Updated over 2 weeks ago

⚠️ Attention: Creating an additional entity on OOTI is not trivial. This involves the activation of modules and management of different projects and data.

If you are unsure or would like to know more, contact OOTI support via chat or [email protected] or your account manager.

What is an entity?

  • An entity is a billing entity, it has its own SIRET and its own turnover

  • She belongs to your main account while remaining independent

In what cases is it useful to create an additional entity?

  • You have two companies with two different business hearts. Example: architecture and urbanism

  • You have entities in France and/or abroad

  • In the Belgian market, you must create a company for a specific project

What can I do with two entities:

  • Create intragroup invoices

  • Use one of the entities as a subcontractor or co-processor of the other

  • Create projects that are specific to the entity’s core business and independent of each other

  • Have a graphic charter specific to my entity

  • Analyze the data by entity and globally as well

  • Having different accounting years

At what point could I no longer delete the entity?

  • There are validated invoices on it

  • There are hours entered and validated on it

What I cannot do with an entity:

  • Transfer the data from one to the other
