Pennylane Integration: Sync Your Invoices in Just a Few Clicks

Connect your account to Pennylane to automatically transfer approved invoices to your accounting software.

🔓 Required permission: Super Admin.

💡 Only approved and marked as sent invoices are synchronized. Draft invoices are never transferred, so you remain fully in control of what gets sent.

I) Connect Pennylane to OOTI

On the platform, go to First Name > Settings > Billing > Integrations.

Select the Pennylane option, then enter your API key (see II) Retrieving Your Pennylane API Key) to connect your Pennylane account.

II) Retrieve Your Pennylane API Key

In your Pennylane account, go to Settings > Connectivity > Developer, then generate a new API token.

When creating the token, select the following permissions:

  • Customer — Read & Write

  • Customer Invoice — Read & Write

  • Supplier Invoice — Read & Write (coming soon to support upcoming e-invoicing requirements; this feature is not yet available)

  • File — Required to attach PDF documents

Choose Unlimited validity, then copy the generated token and paste it into the software.

⚠️ Access to this section requires a Pennylane administrator account. If you do not have access, please contact your accountant.

III) Sync your invoices

Once connected, a new "Sync with Pennylane" option will appear in your invoice menu.

  • For an invoice already existing in Pennylane: the synchronization simply links it, without creating a duplicate.

  • For a new invoice: it is automatically created in Pennylane, along with its attached PDF.

That's it! 🎉 Your approved invoices from your platform are now automatically synced to Pennylane.
