I/ Time-off types
Go to Settings > Time > Time-off Types.
Click on + Timeoff types to create a new category and then save.
"Recuperation" is checked in case you manage recoveries with a balance.
You have created a time-off type. 🎉
Click on the "..." options to edit or archive.
Archiving a leave category means it will no longer appear in the list, and you won't be able to record leaves under that category. However, all previously requested leaves under this category will be retained.
This way, employees can choose the appropriate category when requesting leaves.
II/ Exceptional leaves
Sick leave, birth, marriage... these days are not deducted from the PTO balance (provided you manage balances on OOTI).

To activate the module, go to settings > modules > time then check "exceptional timeoff".
Click save.
You have now enabled the management of exceptional leaves in OOTI.
When an employee requests a leave, they can check the option for exceptional leave depending on the type of leave (maternity, partnership, etc.).
When it's not checked, the vacation balance will be displayed, and the days will be deducted accordingly.
Once checked, the balance will not be affected.
